Graduation - Cap and Gown

New Regalia

You must wear full academic regalia to participate in the commencement ceremony! All students are required to wear our customized regalia available exclusively through the FSU Bookstore and online through Herff Jones. These caps and gowns were created specifically for FSU; thus, you may not wear borrowed regalia or regalia purchased from alternative vendors. Our regalia is available for rental or purchase.

Ordering Regalia & Announcements

Grad Fair. The FSU Bookstore at the Tallahassee campus will host the Spring 2024 Grad Fair on February 7 and 8, 2024 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. A Herff Jones representative will be available to assist you with orders for gowns, rings, and announcements.

Online Orders. You may place your order online at http://colleges.herffjones.com/college/_fsu/ until March 22. Graduates are encouraged to order their caps and gowns sooner rather than later to allow ample time for your order to be delivered. Purchasing Regalia. If you want to purchase regalia, orders can be placed with the FSU Bookstore at https://www.bkstr.com/floridastatestore/shop/graduation. Submit your order as soon as possible because it can take six to eight weeks to process custom orders.

Please reach out to the bookstore at (850) 644-0832 to inquire about expediting availability and applicable fees.

Announcements. Graduation announcements are available as a package with your cap and gown or can be purchased separately at http://colleges.herffjones.com/college/_fsu/. Graduation announcements are also available in Spanish. Please contact Herff Jones for assistance in purchasing these at (904) 641-4060 or speak to a representative at the FSU Bookstore.
